A height measurement would be great.
Perhaps it's possible to rotate the conflicting coils in another direction to clear the linkage and pipe

i finally did go with these coils using the megasquirt. they will not clear the stock linkage without a lot of modification. what i did was use parts of the linkage and cut and welded my own so the cables come up from under the throttle body. no more ugly linkage and pedal feels much much crisper. cruise control works too. ill post pics sometime of my setup. and i love these coils... so nice

Steven and I did a linkage delete on Jason's 7m. All we did was make a bracket with a hole to bolt to the plenum and u-shaped slot to hold the throttle cable.
The cable ran down under and through the plenum between 5-6 cylinders, and we spun the throttle plate 180 degrees.
Full linkage delete, no welding, no replacing any part. I used a drill and dremel.

Albert, was there any conflict between a coil an the pressure pipe running over the valve covers? I'm guessing not, but I want this confirmed.
Do you still have those coil mounting plates that I saw in some thread?

According through PM, 3.0 GT told that the coils fits under the pipe, but it's very close.
I have not seen any pics yet, but I took a chance and bought a set of coils plus 2

Sorry - I have to ask... I am looking for a set of 1ZZ coils for my 2JZ swap... anybody in this thread have any sources for buying them?
