1JZ with a Ct26!?!

The vvti 1jz has a ct15b turbo, the head is different then the twin turbo 1jz head, and the turbo is a totally different design on the exhaust side. It only looks similar in size to the ct26 so people assume it's a ct26. The cool thing is that the ct15b already makes more power then the ct12 twins stock, and the ct26 is significantly larger then the ct15b. The ct15b is ceramic on the exhaust wheel so it is not as durable as the ct26.

what is our exhaust wheel made of? (ct-26)... looks like ceramic to me

I'd love to see this take off... it'd be so nice if those of us with a 7M, could upgrade our exhaust/turbo systems, and then if we swapped to a 1jz, still let us use those upgraded exhaust/turbo systems!

Ah and if you would be so kind as to make one that sits where the 1j exhaust upgrades that us 1j people have will simply bolt right up.

One thing. Get some pre bent 180 degree pipes for future manifolds. I don't know if it was supposed to be a joke but that thing is horrible. I just looked at the thread today so pardon me if the pics I just looked at are not representative of the real manifold. :1zhelp:
