After Doing my Research on here. i see now a healthy 7m can 500 at the wheels but what about a healthy 1jz.. the 2jz prototype ?

On Ebay they sell 1jz's for 950 and a Front clip of a 2jz for 2000..!

2jz definitely. But if I had to choose between a 7m or 1jz. I'd take the 1jz in a heartbeat. The 1jz's dont have the head gasket problems that the 7m's seem to have and there is a HUGE aftermarket for the 1jz engine.

ok

1) this is the 7M forum what do you think we will say in here
2) there is a 1jz forum also
3) there are SO MANY fuckin arguments over there...do more research and make your own decision... every possible pro con or anything has been put out there for either engine.

if i was a mod still id lock this up so tight...its only gonna flame out of control.....

put it this way, if you dont have the money to maintain the 7m then you dont have the money to perform the 1j swap correctly. Think about your budget and not some pipe dream 3yrs down the road and you will behappy instead of starting something you are unable to finish. (like so many have done)

So it goes.
