so wiring needs to be redone. must not have come from the car we thought. so like i said. snag after snag after snag. haha

finding a new wiring diagram..dont know what kind of car it came from therefore we dont know the wire setup.
So we figured out the engines a first gen. 1jz from a 91 supra. Still having some wiring issues but at least we have the right diagram to go off of now. Also thinking of getting the twins rebuilt in 5-6 moths so we can figure the car out first and get it to 100% before we change them. Don't know how much we trust the previous owner and don't wanna risk the ceramic wheels overheating and destroying something.
Glad to see things coming together. I'm in the process of getting an mk3 and I'm doing the same. Have any of you heard of a 1jz with a 2jz ecu? A guy that was selling a 1jz here in georgia said it's the best thing to do
hmm. i havnt, sounds possible thou. might help engine function better cause its using new tech. on an older engine.
Ok so we have power into the ECU but nothing out. Everything is pointing to it but dont want to count that as the only problem. Anyone know of any thing else it might be?
Oh and by the way Im going to have a 7m engine and tranny to sell. Had about 175k miles, tranny has syncro issue in 3rd gear. Engine has brand new HG with ARP bolts.
