1jz idle issue?

I have a mkiii witha 1jz swap and i finally got it running and the idle will start out at 800 and it will slowly creep up to 1000or more rpm and when you rev it the idle will jump up to anywhere from 1200 to 2500 until you burp the throttle again then it will drop back to 900 or so its all stock except an apexi avcr and when hitting the brakes itl upset the idle any help is greatly appreciated

Sounds like a Booster leak

Maybe even a pin hole in the booster itself

So i havent checked for codes yet been busy had enough time to plug the vacuum line to the brake boostet and it still did the same thing im checking the codes tomorrow

So i think i found my issue the iac rubber seal was missing i think i found it anyone got a pic

Thats it, mine was missing as well, put it in, and nothing changed, still idles low. Might need to replace iscv.

What are the mods on the car ? Also what are the afrs at idle

Also have you cked for any holes in the brake booster along the bottom probly.. rust or corosion possibly ?

Mine with it in cold start 1500 then will drop to 900 but still will stick at 1100 to 1500

Hmm well it will take a little time. But you can block the iac off. Start the car and set idle with idle screw.. but that you will have to re calibrate the tps. Down side is you will have to find a happy med betwen hot and cold idle.
But that will tell you if its the iac. Or find another on to try out

have you done a boost leak test? take it to like 25lbs and spray it all down with soapy water. And check the tps to make sure its in idle position. Maybe that the t/b isnt closing and is binding?
