PS, a turboXS evo 8 BOV kit is a direct fit for the 1JZ. I had one on my 93 before i sold it. Plug and play minus making an intake block off.
I'm pretty sure auto manufacturers put them there for cost reasons. It's a lot cheaper to recirculate if it's right by the intake.
I actually just ordered a new SSQV 1JZ kit from HKS. It has a block off plate, and welded to it, a small pipe that the stock hose fits onto one end, and the SSQV mounts onto the other, much like that funny one OneJoeZe pictured.
Of course I'm going single, so the bracket will probably go up for sale
