1jz/2jz cam sensors

Can someone please tell me if the cam sensors should spin when you hold the black plug area and twist the sensor/magnetic pickup ?? ( shiny cylindrical part)
I have a set that is solid and does not move or twist separately but I pulled out a set that just spins around (ofcourse the car is not running or throwing any cam codes. )

Mine spin. It's just a magnet in there man. does it still work? cool. I've used vvti NA 2j ones as replacement if you need them.

yeah the replacements I got were solid, which is why i was curious. the ones I took out of the car were spinning and I thought due to connections inside, it should not be doing it.
Thank you for checking. The problem was not that as the car still has problems starting.
