Yup stock fuel with 7M injectors at first, was good at 8-10psi on the MP T70, blew my HG trying to run 12psi :) No dyno, rough estimate would be ~300rwhp but that's just a guess. The MP turbo is great for the price, I bought mine used and had to have it rebuilt because the oil seal went out after about a year, most people haven't had any problems with 'em. Car ran great until I put 880cc injectors in it lol, although it's running pretty good now after lots of tweaking...

Have you considered throwing a 7M in there just to drive it while you save and prep for your 2jzgte swap?

i dont think im going gte, and i have a running 7m. i just want a winter/beater car that i can get around in without putting all my money into gas because my school and job are pretty for from my house. i also want something that will be good in the snow, i may look into an old subi.

anthony why not do the swap in your current car?
Also why not stay 7m? what are your power go5als? If its less than 450, its way cheaper than any of the above options to stay with the 7m.
I wouldnt even consider doing a swap to a jz motor, unless your going for 500hp because for the money it wont be worth it.
And 500hp pluss on the street, wont be a good daily driver, yes it will be more reliable to run 500hp + in a jz motor vs a 7m but still at that power level, you have to be on pt with maintenence, Always make sure your car is running 100%, Have a great excellent tune and etc.

In my personal opinion regarding the jz motors, i think it depends on what your supra starts off as.
If its a 5spd with w58, you have to get an r154 and seperately those are getting more exspensive veryday so i would do a 1jzgte swap. complete motor with jz r154 gearbox is 1900 from my spot in jersey.
If your car comes with a 5spd r154 in it aready, i would do 2jzge na-t. You can find the motor dirt cheap. Change the headgasket, and run 500 pluss all day but still have the 3.0 trq.

I would only do a 2jzgte swap if you like to spend money and tell everybody u got a 2jzgte in ur car.

I wouldn't say the NA-T is harder than a 1jz swap, definitely alot less wiring. 9.2:1 c/r is fine as long as you keep the boost under 15psi on pump (depending on turbo size), I'm running 22psi on my high setting but that's with 105 octane E85...

If your not going for outrageous numbers like over 500hp, I would just stay 7m, build it to a reliable 350-400hp and you even get a bonus, torque!

I want to do a 1.5jz build, but I also want to build my 7m... I figured since I am also only 18 with not alot of money, I will hold off on any outrageous projects and just build up my 7m. When the time comes Ill do my 1.5jz swap. I also use my car as a semi-dd, so I save alot of time and alot of money with my 7m

exacly. You have ppl making 500hp on a 7m stock internals, with a new stock hg and aro studs, all day long. Its all about the tuning. At the limit, nothing on the tune can be iffy, it has to be 100%.

400-450 also is realy ez to do with a 7m and you be on the limits. Mind you this is a stock internal 7m. If you go and get a set of forged rods, pistons, and mhg. 550hp will be reliable.

So again anthony, its all about how much power do you wanna put down.

I dont wanna do it in my car cause i want targa, and something really clean. And i dont wanna stay 7m cause even if i do a hg on it im gonna have headaches.

Thats another reason i like na-t. Id probably go with a masterpower, but i wanna be 100% safe so i might go with a little bigger hg.

How do you build a reliable 7m? lol. Ive pretty much ruled out the 1j cause i feel you could do more with the 7m. But going 1.5jz seems like a pretty good swap, even though after you do all the work u still have the stock twins. How do you save money with a 7m? I seem to waste money on it hah.

If you get alot of the major shit out of the way it gets pretty easy. If you want a RELIABLE 7m, start with the internals. Stock pistons, eagle rods, mhg, arp studs, upgrade your oiling system, bigger radiator. With just that, you wont have to worry about catching rod knock, overheating, bhg, low oil pressure. whats that smell? its reliability lol

After that, deal with all that little annoying stuff, knock sensor, alternator, whatever else seems worn or close to going out or already out.

Get a junk block, rebuild it, stock pistons (rated to 500 iirc) eagle rods, clevite bearings, oil pump, etc.... With that you will be safe to make 400+, or go with forged pistons and you would be safe to make 500+

why do all that when i can do a headgasket on a 2jz-ge and be just as reliable. lol
