My swap is complete. the car charges fine and runs perfect :icon_bigg I love the 1jz. Its a big ass step up compared to the 7mge. HUGE DIFFERENCE I just wana say thanks to SUPRAMANIA for all its help and especially all the information. without this site the 1jz swap wouldnt be possible.THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!!! Not many people on here have ever been able to say their project is 100% done. It seems there is always something left to do, but you seem content with a stock 1jz. I may never be finished with mine, but I get closer and closer each month. Congrats on the project.

Congrats! now just get a new fan shroud take off the ol busted one. LOL. Just curious, where did you tuck your harness and ecm? I cant spot it.

Which diff are you running? if you have the 4.3lsd in with the stock 1jz set up it is a complete blast to drive the car.

It looks like you will need the fan shroud soon though keep an eye on yor temps.

Most autoparts stores do. I think Aaron also sells them at driftmotion.

Driftmotion does carry the starter. BTW great job on getting the swap done 100%. I have seen my fair share of people running into problems after the swap is completed.

THANKS EVERYONE I say 100% done as in done mechanically and drivable. I havent drove it in 3 months. Yea i Need a new fan and shroud. the day before i took the pics i was crusin and heard a loud snap. i pulled in a lot and the temp climbed i poped the hood and the shruod hit the fan busted a blade off and chipped another That sucks!! i wanted to see if the 7m fan would work. i think im runnin a 2j fan. Im runnin the na lsd and YEAH it is a blast to drive!!! FREAKIN rocket ship. I never had a turbo car. the only other car i had was a stock accord and 7mge. As for the harness i cut a 2 an a half inch hole under the speedo cable. theres a flat spot right before the tranny tunnle starts. Its routed behind the radio up the the glove box. i havent put the glove box in yet because i had to wait to get my Mines Ecu back because of leaking capacitor. The mines ecu does seem to make difference. At 3000 rpms it jumps violently lol. I dont know what psi im running. I havent got a boost gauge or controll yet. I cant believe nobodys mentioned the 7m charcoal canister lol i still need to take that out. I dont know how though. What do i do with the line that goes to the tank???? Cap it off?? I also got a greddy rs bov i gota get welded on. Sill alot of work but hey its a SUPRA

I am still running with the charcoal canister, but my 1j was a soarer so its got a lil vsv under the intake I used for that. Did you have to stretch the harness that way or leave it short? Just a lil info for my next swap I need?

I also drilled a hole in the firewall and ran my harness behind the stereo. no harness extending needed. Only thing you need to mess with is the body plugs.There are a couple threads out there to show you what to do.:icon_bigg

i noticed the charcoal canister, i also noticed the tems and you said it was a 7mge so you must have a sport package n/a which means you should have a 4.30 lsd. pushes you in your seat at WOT am i right?

^Exactly N/A sport and yeah it pushes you perty dam hard in your seat. the whole front end of the car goes up high too. As for the harness i unwrapped the factory tape and retaped it tight. I got maybe a extra 1 or 2 feet it reaches to the stock location perfectly. I did all the wiring myself and didnt want to mess with extending 100+ wires. The body plugs were easy. i made a jumper harness I only sodered maybe 20 wires. Everything inside/outside works perfect. The na tach didnt work so i got the tach from the clip. I swapped out the black lil box and needle onto the na plastic and now it works perfect.
