Just so you know, I ran my car without a shroud and the fan hit something while I was driving. The fan became chipped pretty badly and I drove on it for about 30 miles to safety. Needless to say with the fan chipped, the fan was unbalanced and messed up the water pump which then began to leak. Seriously, change out that fan and get a shroud, cause replacing the water pump will mess up your day.
