I'd say it can be built just like any other semi-modern turbo engine. I don't know specific details of the 1G though. It would be pretty neat to see what that little guy can do though.

have a look at the tag in the engine bay that will say
engine = 1ggte
transaxle.. diff = w58 and f254 or g314 or similar

also on that tag is the colour trim and chassis number ie e-ga70-xxxxxx

lemme know if you need a better description lol

Why did they swap a 1G in? A 7M-GE has the same HP and probably much better torque, plus it is very smooth and quiet.
A 2.0L 6 cylinder engine is a freak of nature.

That's strange that some one would swap the 1g engine in to the USDM wide body supra. Our supras are tanks, and that is a little engine. Does anybody know what the bore and stroke is for the 1g. I'm curious to see the size of the pistons in a 2.0 liter 6 cylinder engine. Is it a square, over square (doubt it), or under square motor. I keep wondering if there is something we don't know about this motor since nobody messes with it. Oh well keep us updated. And good luck on that motor.

It would be sweet if it was all in the stroke(the reduction in displacement), it would be like 61mm, then it could rev to like 50,000rpm no prob.

if it is a w58 for a tranny u can pick does up a dime a dozen compared to a r154. a few custom parts and u might get a 300hp car that has a very unique engine. take tons of pics i personally would like to see it go thru.
