thats awesome man! The winner was in an R35 GTR? Sounds like you would have done even better without all of those issues.

Thanks!
the last GTR with nice upgrades on the engine and on the gearbox but they got the best time only because they was running more time .

I am sure that I can beat it on normal condittions , i got my time overtaking almost 2 cars! never I had a clear lap never, and braking very bad because I have not experience on that track so dont have the braking points controled.

Was it the latest model GTR (2009-2012) or an earlier model. If it was later model, impressive that you would have been faster as those GTRs are rocket ships even in factory form!

from Ceika ltd.
dont remember well the money but somenthing like 1500 or 1600 usd

if you are interested you can ask them but wait untill they solve some issues with the front units the lenght and with the rear the lower attachment but for the rest they looks nice nice and also most of the part are made in aluminium.

Good old Cedric hey...... he is a terrible businessman, with poor customer service, and a lot of issues with his product. Like you, I spent many months waiting for my set, then many more months trying to resolve errors with the ride heights and components themselves. Will never recommend to anybody, unless you have 18 months to waste getting the setup right. I knew I had recognised your car from somewhere, he has it on his website for Ceika.

the last thing to lower the weight..... incredible but my side trips are very heavy on my supra

How did you find the fitment of the side strips? Are they good quality? I'm looking for a replacement for all of mine also.

Keep up the good work, your car is inspiring!

Cheers
Phil

no idea if it is the lattest or the first GTR , I think he have the earlier one, I try to post a photo

I got the roll cage from RHD japan

thanks man , I apreciate your comments
the side strips .... same like Cedrik , long time waiting , but the qualyti is not to bad, they look nice but you`ll need glue to fit it well .

no idea that Ceika have a photo of my car, he a good guy but yes terrible bussinesman jajaja

the Spec clutch I have is the second stage with ceramic pads (I think is the name) and yes it fails but not on the ribets which are loose ,if not becuase it didnt hold the power and slip like the ice and I promise that I havent abuse of it!! but the strange is the clutch make a trerrible noise and dont move the car , but look the photo because except for the blue color the rest look good ????

now I need a good clutch any recomendation??

I have an OS triple plate in mine dunno what power it's rated to grips bloody well though.

Down side clutch pedal is really heavy not sure if its the clutch or the short shifter or a combo it's really hard to down shift at speed. But you have a flash sequential gearbox right?

that way! i need a 26 spindle clutch so really I need a racing clutch to suit a coustom flywheel like the quartermaster or Tilton or... the carbon carbon are spectacular spectacular but on the price jejeje

I think the main reason for the OS Giken clutch being so heavy is the push/pull converter that they use, the twinplates have the same issue.

Carbon is great - takes a lot of the shock load out of the shifts/launches, and extremely driveable, but you do have to look after them by not putting much load on them when cold - the friction material needs heat to work, and warp quickly if abused straight off the trailer. Price is getting better though as they become more common.

carbon carbon will be the future clutch but now I will try to change the rivets and use the SPEC for the last season on November
I found that the problem I had is the carbon driveshaft, one of the aluminium ends spining inside the carbon fibre body, the glue is gone , the Spec clutch have the rivets loose but not broken and the bronce sintered pads can hold a lot of abuse what I havent so looking part by part I found the driveshaft twisted, the factory marks wasent alined.

but it is not the last problem , recently I blought a set of polly bushing for the rear subframe and now was I good time to fit it but first the set is yellow instead the red kit I ordered but also it came with 7 lower parts and 5 upper parts so it came bad packed..... I have no lacky with the supra parts

Yeah Jose that is the R35 GTR which is the latest model. my father has the same model and trust me it is FUCKING quick! if your supra is matching or surpassing that car, your car is very well sorted! im not surprised given what I see in this thread. Since your car is track mainly, have you thought about using solid alluminium bushes for the subframes rather than poly? Much easier to install and will probably do a better job.

Also what brand is your CF driveshaft? I've heard of a few of them failing. They must need some strong "glue" to convert 600hp from the crank to the rear wheels haha.

the driveshaft is a PTS after days looking what can it be the best I decide to go with PTS and the look is nice but it fails ..... and fails on a downshift

I decide to go with the polly trying to save the trans you know? not to have everything solid and replace the gears every season, I will try those and see how it goes

I wondering if will be possible to talk with an especialist to see if posible to drill some holes and secure it with something like rivets or bolts or ...
