Are you talking stock or modified? Cause once you own a supra, it doesn't stay stock for very long. But mod for mod, a turbo auto will beat a turbo manual.

This reminds me of what you said in your other topic (Autos aren't real cars).

You can build boost off the line and you don't lose boost between shifts.

Where have you been dude? The majority of the fastest drag supras are autos, albeit built and probably th300/400.

Hahaha, thanks. I was thinking more along the lines of horsepower as the independent variable and then time to complete 0-60 as the dependent variable.

The 5 speed's slightly lower weight and noticably shorter gearing will help it pull ahead, all else being equal.

you can also hold your hand on your aftermarket shifter while you roll down the strip blasting Lil Jon out of your 15" sub and watch all the girls stare at your spinning rims and fake boost gauge because you got an NA...
