i normally let it sit for a few hours, weather conditions permitting. Just check it after a few hours and if the FIPG is hard then its good to start it up.
like everyone has mentioned just recirculate and you should be fine. It drives and runs soo much better recirculated i cant even explain it til you do it. My car which is a 7mgte in a mk2 used to run stock electronics with the greddy type s. Every freaking rev or everytime i get into boost and...
I've been looking for the 110 model. Haven't had luck finding it, only thing I've found was the 103 version. If anyone knows where to order one please post up.

im waiting on the 2inch 90 degree silicone hose since its kinda tight in that area. Geez the last time i remembered i had a boost leak was when i was using the stock IC piping. :)
A buddy of mine helped me make the harness. Its pretty simple now that i know what im doing. Oh his name is Jim...
just like others have suggested. Put the 550's in and you should be good to go. Your diesel turbo is probably alot bigger than the stock ct26 hence the reason you are hitting fuel cut at low boost pressures.

zambini changing my oil is cake. no more than 2 mins. :) gotta love that relocation kit.
Shaeff thanks for the advice. I'll look into it more as it gets closer to running.

the SS line is fine as it is there. Ive been running it like for about 3-4 years now. If i can find another oil filter that fits then it'll change other wise i'll run the fram.
This car has been MIA forever now. I just had the chance to do some work to it. Its a blast to drive, it'll be funner...

he's puttin down some impressive times as well. i believe if you can hook at the track then it will be a great to see two black mk2's smacking down the 1320. alot of the 7m mk2's are having a hard time hooking at the track from what ive seen. i've only seen a couple 350-400rwhp mk2's hitting the...
william.....that car has come a long way soo far. I remember talking to you i believe a year and a half ago when you wanted to start doing all this to the black 85. :) looks and sounds great, cant wait til you put the bigger snail on and retune. Actually i cant wait til i get my redpra back on...
the best bang for the buck is either the lc-1 plus xd16 gauge kit OR the Zeitronix wideband. As a matter of fact zeitronix just came out with an afr wideband gauge that plugs into their unit just like the xd16 from innovate. Both are very good competitors.
I run the zeitronix and cant wait til...
you cant just say slappin on this turbo will produce this exact amount of power @ this many lbs of boost. It just doesnt work that way. There are way too many variables like different setups and motor combinations.
I think you should lean into tamulis's turbo or better yet pick up that...
just pick up a 57 trim or 60 trim t4 turbo from garrett, t4 adaptor, custom t4 oil lines and a small a/r exhaust turbine like a .58 or .69(largest).
You will have 15lbs of boost @ 3500 rpms give or take. I have alot of mk2 turbo friends running similar turbos from garrett and the results are...
you wont have much lag at all stepping up to 2.5" IC pipes.
your answer should already be answered from the above answers. Let us know how it comes out.

check your clamps around the maft area and also check your couplers for cracks. Robert, my coupler used to blow off the maft until i changed the cheapo universal clamp to a t-bolt :)
charlie
definitely a boost leak. Check your silicone coupler that connects the turbo to the intercooler pipe. If its the stock coupler, they tend to wear out alot and get hard and crack.
