Yup this happens to me as well, but not as much as a before with the fidanza I used to have. I have the new Tial Q Bov and love it, I can not recirculate it at all. I'm on the Lex AFM and don't have any cats and it would backfire or pop alot in the exhaust. I flipped on the EIDS feature on my HKS SAFR right before the car blew up and it stopped. This feature knows to take out a little fuel when shifting I guess.

like everyone has mentioned just recirculate and you should be fine. It drives and runs soo much better recirculated i cant even explain it til you do it. My car which is a 7mgte in a mk2 used to run stock electronics with the greddy type s. Every freaking rev or everytime i get into boost and let off or come to a stop it would stall. Freaking annoying as hell.

You could try the new Forge Splitter BOV. Its a bypass valve and Blow off valve all in one. You can vent to atmosphere and have air recirculating back all at the same time for those that still want that little whoosh or chirp sound. Sounds like a nice new technology but imma guy that sticks with what works. :)
