I had the same problem so did a hatch delete job and siliconed the bottom screen trim, worked a treat for me

yes the window does stop working when you blow the gauge fuse, I did this myself recently and the fuse was in the drivers kick panel, 7.5 amp I think but not 100%

I blew the fuse for my gauges and my windows stopped working, It maybe another fuse in the kick panel

I have mine fitted to rpm 1 on my 7m-gte and it works fine, I doubt it matters where the signal comes from as long as it gets a rpm signal

I have the manual for that as I run it. the switches at the back are car specific and for the 1j its up,down,down,down,down,up,down,up car set 1. red wire ig power, black wire air flow ground, green wire rpm signal, yellow wire air flow output, white wire air flow input. you cut the airflow...

I just press it on a paper towel and check how long the stain is against the dipstick

There is a starter mod that solves this problem a lot of the time, search for the relay starter mod, good luck with it

Instead of cutting wires and connecting them I unplugged the lamp failure and used some jumpers I made with some insulated cable, just connect the wires via the plug, works fine while you sort out the module with no damage to your wiring

I did mine with zip ties instead of hog rings, but you need the pliers to get the old covers off

I had my rear studs shear off because I never knew you should put spiggot rings on your hub if the centre of your new wheels is larger than stock, but it's not that hard to replace rear studs

one off a japanese or uk car would drop right in
