figured it out, tps was bad, switched it with another, car runs good now haha tahnks for the help guys, the code 51 didnt show up when i checked codes when the car was off and then i checked it with the car running and it showed up, so i swapped it and now its fine .....hopefully

i heard that too but i wasnt sure, tps probably wouldnt effect idle so much, but more of higher rpm

either i am retarded and have it way off, or someone hasnt told me something on how to line up the cps, i lined it up with the cover off, at tdc, with the rotor a few degrees after the upper pickup, i also aligned the groove on the cps with the rotor of the cps how it says in the tsrm, so WHAT...

can someone take a picture of their cps at tdc at 0 degrees where it should be?

i unplugged my afm and the idle doesnt change at all, isnt that a bad thing?, when revved it doesnt detect the load, but shouldnt it idle differently?

yea because my 7m gte afm is bad i think( unplug it and idle doesnt change, which is bad? but when revved it stays at low rpm, which is normal) so i think i just need a new one, getting a code and it isnt the wiring.....oh and how much for yours Ric....junkyard wants 15$

yea i was just at the junkyard and i saw that in an sc300 with the 2jz ge in it, and it looked exactly the same to me, connector looked the same, but just not sure about the internals, i need a new afm for my car

will a 90's sc300 afm work for my 89 supra turbo? it looks exactly the same just wondering........
