yup it was the conv. swapped it out for one i had layin around,tightened the crank pulley bolt while the trans was out, and it sounds great now :)...still throwin a 61 though...

haha yeah the RWD is kinda difficult sometimes in the snow...but it's a small town and there is nowhere to go anyway :P the only cars i have that arn't RWD are my celica and my spec-v...the celica ('99) is down for a 3s-gte swap and the spec-v hasn't even seen rain yet

yeah fluid level is good...i think i'm gonna put the converter from the auto out of my project car into the daily driver since i bought a manual for the project...and while i have the trans out i'll just use a flywheel wrench to hold it thanks for the idea's though :)

my left side brake makes a terrible squealing/grinding sound all the time...i pulled off the caliper and disk and they are both in very good condition, however i did notice a small amount of play in the "hub" or whatever it's called is this normal or is the wheel bearing messed up? if it's bad...

it actually sounds like it might be the torque converter, sounds like a big high pitched bee is stuck in there :p i got lazy when the trans went out a while back and had a local shop put in a used auto trans...would they have maybe messed up the converter? the car runs great for a N/A but it's...
