    W58 not really fitting 7mge?

    1. Fusebox is on the Civic core support, pretty well outta the way 2. Definitely. In fact, I made a short sweep pipe powdercoated red. Puts the Airinx filter right at an opening near the inner fender 3. Definitely wanted to go polished, but I also didn't want to dump alot of money into...

    W58 not really fitting 7mge?

I guess I might as well, considering the number of requests. It's gonna take me a little time to get the pictures together, but I'll get working on it. In the meantime, anything anyone knows or has done themselves to clean up the engine, other than deleting the EGR, let me know. I'm pulling...

    W58 not really fitting 7mge?

Thanks man, preciate the compliments. And good timing. I was yard all that stuff out today. Guess it's gonna stay. There are a few other VSV's up under the intake manifold too. You or anyone know what those are for? I have a a few from the 7m and 22re and can't remember which are which and...

    W58 not really fitting 7mge?

Few questions. Since this obviously isn't going back into a Supra there are a few things I'm not using. I've never used charcoal canisters so that's gone. But what is the canister under the intake manifold? I thought it went to the cruise control or something and I'm not using cruise, so...

    W58 not really fitting 7mge?

That pic was taken when I was raising the front and dumping the back, so yeah, they were. When it's layed out it's all level.

    W58 not really fitting 7mge?

It's a VIS Invader II on there now. I will probably go a little more subtle when all is said and done. I have a Drifter front bumper on my 240 that I like. It's clean and looks really good on it. Kinda like this: I don't know about the Canadian front bumpers...that's maybe a little too...

    W58 not really fitting 7mge?

I do try. But I also try to keep it tasteful. When the interior is all black and billet, it'll look sic!

    What's Wrong?

Isn't there an idle adjust screw on the throttle body? I know some things are different from ge to gte, so I dunno. If there is, try backing it off 1/4 turn or 1/2, but keep track so you can put it back just in case. Last time I had idle issues after warming up it was the TPS and a bad brake...

    W58 not really fitting 7mge?

Here's 2 pics of the Supra dash modified to fit in the truck. This was a bit of a trick cause I had to mix all the wiring from my stock gauges to operate the Supra gauges, but everything works now. I also had to use the Supra dash support so the dash could bolt in nice and tight...and it does!

    W58 not really fitting 7mge?

Read "Fueltank Horror Stories" on some of the minitruckin' forums...I ain't blowin' my sh*t up. I have a custom built aluminum tank in the back that lays about 1" off the ground when layed out. I dump to shoot sparks and I'll be the entertainment come the 4th of July! LOL! "In the grass"...

    W58 not really fitting 7mge?

Yeah, I sold my old 18's cause the rubber was too big so when it lays out it actually rested on the tire. And I sold the engine for $1200 with a BHG. Loved that motor though. Wait another month till the motors complete and running, the beds on and it's sittin' in the grass layed out on the...

    W58 not really fitting 7mge?

Never thought I'd do a build thread on a Supra site...imagine that. Maybe I'll make one on ToyotaMinis.com, lol. Anyhow, here's a few pics I have on this computer: I'll post more when I transfer them from my old computer.

    W58 not really fitting 7mge?

Ugh, where to begin? It's a '93 Toyota Minitruck bodydropped 4"s. I converted the frontend to a '98 Honda Civic and I swapped in a 7mge and W58 trans and modified the Supra dash to fit in my truck as well. I also have the MKIII IRS that will go in after I get all the drivetrain buttoned up.

    W58 not really fitting 7mge?

Yeah, it is. It's called a Civota. This is it tore down a little and with the 22re still in it: And now with the 7m:

    W58 not really fitting 7mge?

Apparently I'm mildly retarded. I was working by myself on one side of my truck and got the dowel lined up with a hole and popped it in. From my side it looked alright. From the back it didn't really look like it was off center, but it was way off to the passenger side. Deeerrrrrr Thanks...

    W58 not really fitting 7mge?

LOL, shit. Only a paintball mask woulda saved you from that one, eh? I just posted a listing for a w58 trans and that's what I got. I drove 250 miles to get it and found out afterwards that they came out of an MKII. You wouldn't happen to have reference pics would ya?

    W58 not really fitting 7mge?

That's my motor. You probably can't see, but where the "horns" stick out on both sides in the rear, they leave big windows to see the flywheel. I don't get it. Maybe someone else has better pics of proper fitment. I'll get some more of my issue in the morning.

    W58 not really fitting 7mge?

I picked up a w58 transmission from an '84 n/a Supra after having picked up a w58 bellhousing from an '88 Supra and I'm having the same problem...it doesn't line up with my motor. I can only get one of the top bolts in and can't really tell at this point if I can get anymore than 1 on either...
