Right.... because you have had megans. As stated before Ive ran the same megans for more than a few years 4 or 5 to be exact. And the bilsteins are only warrantied for craftsmanship for lifetime...... normal wear and tear you get to pay about 65 a piece to redo. been there done that. Unless you...
I would say if u can afford a set of bilsteins and h&r's you can afford a set of megan coilovers... been running some for quite a time on my SC300 and had them on my 90 supra when I had it well worth it.
u can run an safc jsut by putting the stock ecu back in, noo real reason to remove any mods u can support over 5-600 with the injectors u have just fine. It's been stated many times u can go quite far on any jz with safc, now u may have to get a BCC and sCC but that is a given with an safc.
my point is ur reason for getting rid of the 1j for a 2j is a bit dumb. If you have an safc and know how to use it then go stock ecu and use it. there are quite a few using and safc with ur size injectors. Then after that hell you can take a road trip to a tuner with the stinger in the trunk and...
yes you can use 1j pistons in a 2j. Just like you can use 2j in a 1j. All you have to be sure of is you use the correct rings. Like if u use 1j pistons use 1j rings. I am not guessing I am sure on this it has been posted.
u do realize that even with a 2j 7m or whatever u put in there that it has to be tuned with mods.... so your reasoning for a swap is stupid. Have you talked to the guys at driftmotion to see if maybe you can get some kind of decent map to hold you off till you can get it to a tuner. or worse...
Hey none of you fella's would happen to have 440 or 550 injectors just layin around you wanna get rid of do you. Im gonna put my single on soon and checkin local before I go global. This is side feed preferably hi imp im lookin for but let me know what you got. So how many 1J guys we have around...
I tried this and it didnt help me at all. Also.. how many of you are using the knock sensor input I have tried it but it never displays any info. Maybe I am setting it to the wrong knock freq, but i never seem to find anyone monitoring it but I would really like to kinda helps tuning you know.
i mean maybe it wont for you i dont know, all it takes is you unplugging it and go for a drive with a wideband hooked up your not gonna go lean and blow your motor. But I wouldnt recommend staying that way unless you dont have problems... also you can run most widebands as a narrow band as well...
hey di rosa what injector adapter are u speaking of... this may be why mine runs stupid ass rich with the emanage regardless how much i pull.... i did not see this anywhere from greddy either
