    Oil cooler sizing?

jDub, Thanks for the clarification. is this method efficent compared to a single cooler that (size would be comparable to 2 coolers)? Any down sides other than the complication of the extra length of hose? I am curious as I am running the series setup with the stock oil cooler and a...

I pulled my first two bearings. What do you think? (w/ pics)

IJ, Does that mean that the Clevite 77 bearings are the same as the ACL's here in the US? Or is it just for the 7M? I am curious as I am in the process of finishing my head and saving money for the bottom end and replacing the pistons, rods, rod bolts, rod bearings, main bearings, and...

Hey Man, I have seen these seats in the car and they do look good, I even sat in them and they do hug pretty good. all that you need to do is to find the seat brackets to roll. Personally, I would go with black seats, but i know that you had theses seats for a while. is your car...

    Brian Crower or Ferrea???

suprarich: I am not made of money and I like your suggestion for the head to do a head rebuild with the comp springs upgrade the stock valves and the 3 angle valve job. Which comp springs are you thinking of for the upgrade?

    Brian Crower or Ferrea???

I do have a budget, and i would pass my budget if I go with the BC spring kit and the ferrea valves and the porting. Because i originally had planned to only fix the head and get a MHG plus the ARP bolts and spend money on the block to get rods and pistons and bearings. My question to you...

    Brian Crower or Ferrea???

The HP I want is at least 450-500 to the wheels. And I know that I can't get there with my stock turbo. What would be considered mega-HP for the 7m? That's why, I am asking because of quality issues with BC that pop up. And I do have such fears of their quality at BC. An Update: Today...

    Brian Crower or Ferrea???

I need some advice from fellow Supra owners.:1zhelp: I am in the process of getting my 7MGTE head worked on. After a BHG, I decided to rebuild my engine, and right now the head is going to be prepped for +1mm valves, BUT that is were I am stuck. -go with Brian Crower VALVE SPRING/RETAINER...

Possible BHG, don't want to admit it.

i will try the leak down test as soon as i can get m y hands on a leak-down tester. BTW do u jdub, know what is is the typical value for the 7mgte as far as compression psi numbers after the compresiion test. I know that if all cylinders are within the same range even if the numbers appear low.

Possible BHG, don't want to admit it.

Okay, jdub. i can try the first and the second recommendation, but the third, i haven't done one(is that the one that the coolant system gets pressurized and see if the coolant system will hold the pressure.) What other causes are u reffering to?:kickinthenuts: Possibly more causes!!!
