ok, I guess Ill be dropping the trans tomorrow then to see if everything is installed correctly. Has anyone else heard of this or have any other suggestions?
Thanks
correct, the car will shift in to gear when it is not running. I do have the inspection plate off and can see the the clutch moving. The flywheel is brand new never used before. I just finished bleeding it and there is no air in the lines at all.
while my supra was down and I was replacing the BHG on it I figured I would put in a new clutch and flywheel. Now when I start the car and step on the clutch pedal the trans wont shift in to gear. I have checked the pedal freeplay and am about to go and bleed the line. Does anyone have any other...

Nick
does anyone have a pic of how the CPS is supposed to look when everything is lined up correctly? Just so I can compare with what I am doing.
Thanks,
Nick
ok, everything is hooked up now. Car cranks but wont fire. I have fuel and I have spark and there is gas in the the tank (made sure of that). It actually loads up and sounds like it is going to and then it falls on its face. I believe that the timing is set properly also. anyone have any ideas...
GrimJack, I was wonderinmg if you have any pictures of the exhaust side of the motor as well? specifically the oil pressure sending unit or where the wire plugs in to it.
Thanks,
Nick
does anyone have a pic of the oil pressure sending unit hookup? I was just out in my garage and could not find this thing at all. Is it the connector underneath the yellow plug on the therm housing mount? Or is it actually on the block somewhere?
The red wire is spliced onto the yellow wire with a black stripe.
Thanks for the help guys, the only other connector not connected then would be the one going to the AC switch on the therm housing. I will be connecting this wire when I get home tonight and trying to start the car.

After getting everything back together after a HG job I have 2 wires on the turbo side that I am not sure where they came from as I don't remember unplugging them.
This is the first one. The wire color is Yellow with a green stripe. I think it goes to the AC sensor in the second pic, but that...
Hey all,
I have kind of a strange request. I was wondering if anyone has a good pic of the intake side of the engine with all their connections connected in the car. I am in the last stages on putting my car back together and I have a couple of ground wires that I cant see where to bolt them...
Bill,
I didnt know that it was supposed to be that low when warm. My car when warming up builds really good pressure (to about 40 psi), but when it is warm the pressure gauge is really low, probably about 4 psi, but then the pressure builds back up when The car is in motion. I take it this is...
hello all,
I am having some issues with oil pressure and I am pretty sure that the pump is probably going bad because the car has almost 174k on it. My question is: Can I replace the oil pump with the motor still in the car or does the motor have to be removed in order to accomplish this...
