Second time owning a MK3 Turbo. Just spoke to the previous owner and he said this issue started when he shimmed the WG and "played with the timing". When I get home I'll check the timing to make sure it is to spec. I have unshimmed the WG. Do you think screwy timing is likely a cause for my issue?
Just bought an 87 USDM Turbo and it is stumbling at 5PSI. It has a rebuilt head, HKS stopper HG and ARP studs as well as a Walbro 255. Everything else is stock.
Car stumbles when you get to 5PSI and slightly bucks. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. Just...

Hey, if I don't have proper compression, no worries, I wanna do this right. No rush. These cars need to be respected and done right.
LOL okay point taken. Will start looking. I just wiped down the sensor with Kleenex and it removed a ton of gunk and I started getting consistent readings. "compressed air and prayers" hahaha
i will recheck timing again. started testing with my multi-meter last night and found out my afm wasn't reading. It had oil caked on it. Cleaned it and now it reads correctly. Also tested csi time and it was fine. Tested the igniter and the fuel circuitry and it was all fine.
Ground a spark plug to the chassis and look for the arc. For fuel FP to B+ in the diagnostic port while switched to the on position. Can hear fuel rushing through the rail.
Okay, so I did that right. I'll just put that theory to bed. Thanks. Yes the cam gears are installed correctly. I think I'm just going to replace my ignitor. Maybe I'm not getting adequate spark.
From left to right on the coilpack I was using 1,6,3,4,2,5 1 being the closest cylinder to the radiator. That has been how I've had the wires hooked up from day one. What is confusing me and I'm still not grasping is the Coilpack order isn't the firing order..... but I think as long as the...
Cps installed and verified about 8 times. Installed it at true TDC. Firing order is 163425 cylinder 1 is closest to the radiator. As for the power of my spark, I don't know. i was told spark is spark
