I'm about to move my motor from my 87 turbo to a better early 89 body. I'm moving the Motor/Tranny/Driveshaft. My question is: Do I need to remove the Crank Pulley for clearance issues, or can I pretty much pull the motor / swing it around and install it? I'm using the following...

Cylinders 1-4 between 150-180... Cylinders 5 and 6..... around 60... bhg between 5 / 6. Well.. this just speeds up my current project of taking my motor out of a 87 body and putting it into the 89 body thats in my driveway. Thanks all.

Ohm on 5 and 6 were at 3.5ohms... so in spec. Dropped in two new plugs after checking they had spark from wire... nada. As for the BH post... not ruling it out by any means.... but just checking all other ideas.

Thanks for the quick response.. Could be a BHG (would be the second one)... but, I find it strange that with no spark / no fuel in one or both of the cycinders that there is no difference with idle or even if i give it some gas. The head gasket is not too old...and was installed with ARP...
