the important thing to realize is that those calculators assume IDEAL conditions- i.e. temp/humid AND a GOOD launch (1.7ish 60'?). both things you'll never see. the MPH-> HP conversions are pretty spot on. remember the weight = race weight. i.e. you + fluids. easily 3600+ lbs for the MKIII.
