make sure they have it set up right- it should be in MAP mode....not KV. sounds like you probably have a faulty unit.

no one. the only device that can monitor timing on the 7M is the MAFT pro. there was discussion about building a small standalone timing monitor, but it was decided that there wouldn't be enough demand for it.

eh, the better question is: why would you run a piggyback when attempting to make that much power?

by that logic ANYTHING you do to increase HP = more wear on the engine....best to drive it softly, keep the revs under 3k, not exceed 55 MPH and only drive it for distances longer than 100 miles in order to ensure that your engine doesn't wear excessively.....:3d_frown:

what is your aversion to running more boost? a properly modded stock turbo engine @ 15 psi or so will make 300 rwhp reliably....

who cares about the stumble? you can't rev past a certain point....same problem....IMNSHO.

or poor grounding within the power adaptor. are you guys using DC-DC adaptors or a DC->AC invertor to your laptop's AC power supply?
