The 57 Trim is brand new from Driftmotion. Has been on the car for about 2 weeks and has maybe 500 km on it before it started smoking at decelleration. I still haven't confirmed 100% that it is the turbo, just with the new engine build and everything else under the hood being new, I am figuring...

Im not really happy with a 600 km failure on my DM 57 Trim CT26 (in fact, I am really pissed off about it... ).. but having said that, I am thinking about possibly moving out of the CT26. However, my DP and manifold are all setup for the CT26 and I am not really looking forward to doing any...

You probably already know this, but I figger I will just state it... the screws are phillips to prevent you from stripping the threads. If you know that, then you also know not to overtighten those bolts your going to use. It wont be fun if you pull the thread out... :)

Not sure how it works there, but my insurance warned me that if I went that route, they would cancel my insurance post haste.. lol. Apparently you have to have some kind of "rider" for corporate sponsorship that changes how insurance is done on the car... which I did not want to get into. Not...

No, thats prefectly fine.. just specify engine (assuming 7MGE). They are the same drivetrains, but setup just a little differently. Just good to know is all. The more info you give, the easier the "experts" can advise.

Your car got hit, so their insurance has to pay you? (thats how it works here) I would get as much as possible out of it, whatever they offer you I would ask for about 15% minimum more... of course.. i dont know how your insurance works there, but I would be valuing the car at 4500-6000 and...

That link was where I started with about 2-3 years ago to plan all of this. Its an excellent descriptor and rereading it is what leaned me into upgrading the intercooler now rather than waiting until after summer. Just got my 1990 back with the redone headgasket and its amazing the difference...

I already have the before dyno (if not in this thread, its in my build thread... link above the photo) 300 HP, 367 Torque at 14 psi. Turbo has to get replaced and then I will put the intercooler and hardpipes,etc on when I get the turbo back.. and then will dyno it once more just to check out...

Well after much thought, I am going to just upgrade the intercooler and put on a hks SSqv4 bov. No sense letting money stand in the way if doing it right. I think the new DM one that I posted the link to earlier should be good. The only thing left is to decide on standalone and that wouldn't...
