it was originally made by aisin. when you turn in your core the new company refurbishes it. So although it had the name on it, it was not built with aisin parts but by a different company. The only thing aisin on it now is the casing..

Don't worry about making the FIPG/RTV pretty before you slap the pan on. Don't flatten it out with a stick. glob it on the pan not of course using way to much and put the pan on...
Just be sure both surfaces are cleaned properly!
thats also with a blown diff! Last time I checked in, his car was in the high 10 territory with street tires putting down some horrible 60ft times. I would be amazed to see what it does with slicks, new diff, and the tune problem fixed!
