Kinda Supra related but not so much.

I had a guy come up to me at the gas station last week saying how much he loved this particular generation of Supra (my MKIII), and how he wanted one.

    I lost over 20lbs in 4 hours!

You've never been in a MKII have you ;) Those are actually MKII Supra/ Celica GTS seats. They are VERY comfortable seats. You should sit in a MKII some day just to feel their seats :) The give-away is the plastic sides. Tanya, is that just the picture, or did someone key your car?

    Help.... Clutch disk.

If you try to put the disc in backwards, it won't work. The part that sticks out faces the tranny. If if you try to make it face the motor, the springs will catch on the flywheel bolts. And that clutch has a decent amount of life left in it. Don't worry until all those grooves are worn flat.

    need help with turbo upgrade????

For the turbo, I would look at Precision Turbo. they offer the GT40-88 with a .81 T4 housing, and the GT40-88R in a .86 T4. I ran the 40-88 on my 1JZ, it hit full spool about 4500. It was a little laggy for my tastes, but came on like a freight train.

    1jz leaning issues?

I blame the walbro. you're running about 60psi of fuel pressure at full boost. The walbro doesn't flow that much at high pressures. I had the same problem with my car. I suggest a 2nd pump in-line.

    JZ is sick :(

I did a little more troubleshooting this afternoon, and it does indeed seem like an overfueling issue. I sat there for like half an hour, and finally got it to re-learn its idle. It's driving a lot better now. I think what happened, is the night I left my friend's, there was a freak snow...

    JZ is sick :(

No cat. and the only way the timing could have been messed up would be if the timing belt slipped, which I doubt it did.

    JZ is sick :(

I haven't had any time to troubleshoot this, as I was on my way to work when it happend. The problem started last night I suppose, I was leaving my friend's house, and the car wouldn't idle properly. It kept stalling. On the drive home (about 2 miles) I noticed my wideband was reading...

    Calgary: Secret Street May 16

it's a "pay your $25, and race as much as you want" Everyone who wants to race lines up, then they will pull cars off in pairs, and let them go down the track. At the end, you get a timeslip. This repeats until the track closes. IIRC, Gates open at 5, tech starts at 6, racing starts at 7...

    Calgary: Secret Street May 16

It's in the industrial area. Take deerfoot south to barlow trail. Turn right at 114th ave (beside Deerfoot Casino). Drive down the road for about 3km to 68th st. You'll see it on our right. Turn right on 68th, and enter the parking lot on your left. Spectators are $5, and racers are $25...
