I was bolting the transmission back up and I go FFFFFFFFFF@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@KKKKKKK

The clutch disk. What side faces which side? The flatter side sits towards the engine right? And the side where the center springs sticks out more faces the tranny right? (This is on a 1JZ with R154 tranny)

ALSO.. Base one the picture... How much life of the clutch disk do I have left?

if i am reading thi correctly you have it bassackwards. in your last pic the side u are not holding goes toward the pp the flatest side to flywheel. on the other that disck is in very good shape maybe 30% worn @ most

If you try to put the disc in backwards, it won't work. The part that sticks out faces the tranny. If if you try to make it face the motor, the springs will catch on the flywheel bolts.

And that clutch has a decent amount of life left in it. Don't worry until all those grooves are worn flat.
