I always thought I would be stock bodied, but I saw some sides in person, and they look nicer than in pics. Especially molded in like it was produced that way. If by exchange you mean flushing it will exchange all the fluid vs. the 3 quarts you get out dropping the pan, and the pan is not dropped. If your looking for problems rather than just servicing, then it would be a good idea to drop the pan. Just don't get exicited when you see metallics unluss...

The one you hooked up makes the bendix come out, the big positive cable held on with 12mm nut makes it spin.

I bet they are both good. Just guessing.
