    Horrible MPG, No Apparent Problems

Especially not an exhaust manifold leak that is barely audible, yet trips the 25 because the fuel trim is now maxed out.

    Camshaft Removal

It sure is a good idea. Turn the crank bolt so the match marks are straight up and inline. Then you will know it is wrong before starting another thread on SM saying it doesn't run right.

    Horrible MPG, No Apparent Problems

You never mentioned how you drive the car, meaning you have the accelerator pedal to the floor at every stop. You should have no problem getting-18 mpg with city driving only- driving like a normal human being. How many fuel leaks are under the car?

Where can a get a direct source for an RPM signal?

I don't think you should tap the factory harness at all. Get a plug and play stand alone, or use a stand alone that has its own harness.

    Crank, No Start

If the primary is open, you will not get IGf. And of course the car will not run without a pick up signal. Have you checked DTCs? I think you might see 12 or 14. This assumes all your hook ups from the swap are correct. nevermind.

Airbox needed with underhood air cleaner?

It should look something like this. Many an EFI car with a K&N FIPK has had a problem with a fan clutch causing an idle problem when exposed and not enclosed.

Just take the cap off. And it doesn't take two days. Picture from google....and some Toyota forum.

    I don't understand why but,

A better idea is go to a dyno with a four gas analyzer and see what happens going in and out in small increments. You don't need a five gas, but it is fine if they do. And they do have one, or they could not tell you A/F.
