Heres the difference before and after color sanding right up close, you cant see any peel unless you are looking for it. Notice the roof tops and details in the tree.
Thanks....I cant wait to get my 10" rears with a bigger lip....still on B/O. I wanted something different, bumpers and sides are common, but no one has these wheels on a MK3, the moldings coordinated really makes it different.
Agreed....without the wheels, I wouldn't have tried.
Never really thought I'd like it, but when I picked up the moldings from the paint shop, I snagged a sample to check it out.....its temp stuck on there now.....I will cut them exact......I think it works.
I was looking for gunmetal or dark gray to go on the black, but selection is very limited. Since chrome was available local, I wanted to see SOMETHING on there. I think I like it, it fits with the wheels. I told my 17 y/o son about it....he said gay.....then he came out to the garage and saw...
If you cap the frequency to avoid fuel cut, wouldn't the a/f tracking still continue to add fuel to achieve your desired a/f at WOT. Also you could use the timing control to pull timing after the cut if you wanted??
Hope doc or turbobob are still watching this thread....are those guys still...
LOL.....thats nuts, I think I've seen carbon fibre one around that price. Cost me under $10 to paint and looks better than a new one:) I also passed on the rear hatch window trim...over $350 IIRC... all the windshield, 1/4's, and targa trim is new.
Dave...I'm anxiously awaiting your thread...
If you install them with the o-rings dry it's not hard to "pinch" or tear an o-ring. Pull them out of the rail, and look for a little tear in the o-ring. I have to say I've never seen an injector leak externally.
