Thanks for the help. I'd use stock mounts for now if possible but I don't think it will work. Looks like the 'cups' on the bottom of the mounts are, rear ~3.125" and fronts ~3.75" so they wouldn't fit over standard springs. The fronts look like the 'cups' could be easily cut off (3 tack welds)...
Agreed on making your own brackets. I bought some 'Sparco' brackets for the mk3 and found they had awful fitment (said 86-92 Celica on the tag)
They fit the floor shape but the bolt holes for the floor and seat were off and had to be modified. Also were very high so we made our own brackets.
Sounds good for alignment, we couldn't get 1.5 with mine and were limited to 1.1 up front and did 1.5 in rear (had 1.9 in rear before but I liked the feel of this a little better) You've got variable rear toe on these cars, so you could go even lower and still have a little under...
Fwiw, I really like my Eibach/Tokico setup but I'm pretty used to it and have dialed the swaybars and alignment in to be very nuetral. I'm still on street tires and could certainly use more spring like Tim mentions but the car is pretty nuetral (slight oversteer and on- demand great throttle...
Can't wait to see another mk3 in GRM, best of luck guys!
If yall need any help/advice there's a few of us that are into auto-x and track stuff for that portion of the event.

Right, it doesn't fit tight but it's 1/2" longer than stock so I thought it could be putting more stress at times (if expanding, like when people over grease a stock DS and it causes problems)
I'll have to take things apart to figure why I'm having problems suddenly, this was just my first...
Who else has verified this info? Both of my R154 DS's were the same measurement, which was ~3/8-1/2" shorter than the 1 piece I just received. After a single event the car will hardly roll in nuetral as if the DS is binding or not completely disengaging. 1st and 2nd are also suddenly hard to...
Can anyone verify what spring diameters will work with various upper mounts?
Stock springs and springs designed to work with OEM mounts are tapered to ~3.25" ID to match the OEM mounts (these have an inner cup that will not allow straight 2.5" / 2.75" springs to line up. I'm wondering what...
Agreed, I like the taller gears as well. I've got a 3.73 that's about perfect for track. Of course the 4.10 Torsen I have was nice on the shorter tracks but it can lead to more shifting on long ones (my original engine sees shifts at 6k or less unlike yall)
Brian
What's understeer? ;)
I don't see it as not being predictable at all, of course it is a torque multiplier and 0 times anything is 0, if that's what you mean (getting no traction to one tire)
Even in the rain events it's done well but I've had some snap spins getting used to it. I'll agree...
I think the Euros were designed with autobahn abuse in mind. I've heard the cooler is available from Toyota for ~5k!
Doesn't sound like yall have had problems with the Torsen unit though. Don't like the operation?
I really like mine but I'm coming from being tired of wearing clutches on...
I had forgotten you weren't using Toyota stuff anymore. So it was the front pinion, not the diff assemblies themselves. I'd imagine the pinion is very similar in the mk4 and other Toyota stuff but maybe the oil setup in the casing is improved (I remember the mk3 casing being groved to supply oil...
1J, any info on the cooler setup? The mk4 guys on SF are asking about it as they mention not seeing people running diff coolers on Supras (although it was a euro option for mk4's)
I told them about your issues.
Are you sure it is the T2 unit? I bought one from him too and it's the same style as another Torsen I picked up. Works great for me but I don't do drag stuff.
Is this the TRD unit that can be purchased from Toyota? I thought that was a clutch style.
Torsen markets this as a lifetime unit...

Do you know what diff you're using? My Torsens have a slight clunk noticed when engaging. Noticed it while rebuilding as well but seems to be part of the design vs. a cluth type.
