I'm Still running old school bfg Comp t/a's 245/45/16 on all four's. On warm days they are absolutely excellent. but cold/wet, forget it lol. I've always been a fan of BfG's
Check your cold start injector sensor(efi temp). its the one on top of the thermostat housing in front. and as far as speed, it all depends on your rear end gearing. i have heard of members running 170+. I have 4.11's in mine and at 6k im at like 145, so it all depends on your gearing, and...
I also attempted to preload the gate, i turned it about 2 full turns, but i also realized the play that same night so that could be why i'am not getting any results past 5psi, And Ian brings a good point, do any of you have ebc's?
See thats strange because i have the play in the sleeve like all the others and it still makes about 5 pounds. just no more than that. im thinking you need more preload. What rpm did you take it too?
I dont get shit from anyone except the guys at work,,,,(I work at toyota.......) they are always saying how ugly and slow mk3s are. sometimes i want to cry, but i know the truth inside,,,,,SUPRA'S ROCK!!!!:)
That is the million dollar question, although it may be possible to do the swap in the car. ive pulled the motor so many times that its just easier that way for me. IMO buying an already 5 speed mk3 is easier than the hassle of converting. just my .02
Well for either tranny your going to need to change the flex plate for a flywheel, clutch, brake, and gas pedal assemblies, clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder,im not sure but i think you may have to change the yoke on the driveshaft, there may be more that i cant think of right now
"Just drop the pan and replace the bearings one by one"
"Doing 90 in a taurus loaded with two 4g63t long blocks in the trunk/backseat, in a snowstorm, with a completely fogged up window blasting van halen all the way"
Heres my car running a third gear pull from around 2500 rpm @ 5 pounds(gate wont go past 5 lol) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=69Rk7HNIRsA Oh and heres a shot of my Engine with the t61. /// Yes thats the stock accordian hose, it will fit, condition permitting.
P.S. Sorry...
mine does it id say once every couple seconds at idle. ive never really worried about it too much. a miss is a miss, although when i changed out the silicone vac line i had running to the bov for a new rubber one, it decreased greatly, i need new plugs too so that is also a probability.
Apology accepted, and i merely meant that a ct26 at 20+psi would be spinning too fast for its housing/bearings etc friction begins to occur and naturally your egt's are going to raise. . regardless the point im making is sure you can make decent power with stock. as an example look at the guy...
I Can blow in the gauge in the mirror and see the needle move. is there some possibility that the regulator is bad? its weird
, really weird. tuning with the safc2 the afr's are under control. so im just not sure what to do. i haven't had a chance to buy another gauge yet. Next plan of action...
Now i dont have a problem with your input on the topic. But when you call me a liar, that goes too far. Saying that i dont own the turbo and im just some kid pretending to be cool like the big kids. i dont take to kindly to that. about 2900 rpms in second gear the turbo starts to spool. by...
Wow now youve got me thinking. i used m1 on my supra a few blocks ago, same result. oil starvation. Ive been using castrol edge since and havent had a problem.
