Joos. I have my extra stock cams out. Why don't you bring over the 2j cams and we can then take them and my stock 1j cams to the machinist in burelington and have him cut em down? It could save you some cash.

Hey man, I agree with you 100%. Do the wiring yourself. It is more gratifying to do it yourself. A multimeter and wireing diagrams,Thats it,oh yea and the want to. I have most of a 7m harness(plugs) if you want free.

With everything stock what is stock 1j boost cut / fuel cut? I put on a manual boost controller but any thing above 14 psi the car violently surges. It is still an auto for now does anyone know how to get around this?

Go to any toyota dealer and spend $26 for the EWD manual for the year of supra you are going to swap in the 1j. It will cover every bit of wiring your car has. It will make your swap go alot smoother.

The plug names that are stated are from a lexas sc300 wiring diagram book I bought so I could chase these wires. Since yours is running I guess I have wired 3 now.

I did some checking clear nail polish is a enamal. not as strong as epoxy, might work for a little while.

I am running the stock 7m radiator and it dropped right in and have not had any issues so far. unless you are running full throttle every where or in hour long traffic jams you don't need any thing more.

Wow I thought this was deleted. After some help it is found out to use the auto 1j trans you will have to wire in an elec speedometer, cause to shift into 4th the ecu uses the elec speed sensor( where the cable would normally go) I used a voodoo elec speedo works great.

Yeh id take off the rubber boots and clean off the silicone check for cracks if there are you will have to use some epoxy or rsein I think I even read some one used clear fingernail polish .
