    Jimi's build update

Alright more goodies, A1 arms. I noticed while putting on the teins that my stockers were arched. I also picked up a hand full of hub studs today at Toyo. So I need to get these arms and the studs on this week so I can make it out to the meet this weekend that Matt put together. I will...

She'd be done if they would have sent me the right studs, hopefully I can get the right ones in this week and swap um out. I'm just going to get OEM ones this time, Toyo should be able to get them in for me quickly.

    wheel hub studs

Kurt, I will see what they say, but I don't know, there was something about a 25% restock fee. They were listed under the MKIII, here is the link: STUDS NashMan, There is no way, the part of the bolt that "presses" into the hub is too small. As in the hole in the hub is bigger than the bolt...

    wheel hub studs

NOPE!!! F'n .....They are not the right size, the "Knurl" is WAY too small on these. The ARPs that Horsepower Freaks lists under MKIIIs is not the correct ones. The package says they are for Hondas. I guess I get to try and sell these on Ebay now, as I don't suppose I can return them. Now to...

They said they were the ones for the MKIII hubs, But I just wanted confirmation. I'll post the results under my build thread once...

    wheel hub studs

I'm needing to replace my studs and want to go with ARP not OEM, So are these the right size, I don't know the proper "Knurl" size needed (part of bolt that presses into hub): ARP Wheel Hub Studs - .485 Knurl Diameter, 2.50 Underhead Length, .275 Knurl Length, M12X1.50mm Thread

Yep, but it was a bad crank. They did take care of me, upstanding guys. Aprox 1900 bucks got me a rebuilt long block with ARP head studs, HKS MHG, new oil pump, water pump, timing belt and spark plugs.
