Yes, actually I work at a Nissan dealership and refuse to buy any nissan product because of what I've seen. The main reason I went up to this specific dealership is because of a Black GTO which they just sold and was listed at 18k :( and the mazda RX8 caught my eye ball. They have a 06...

    Mazda RX8

50/50 weight distribution is good. Aside from the having to add oil every other oil fill up and the minor quirks so far seems to be decent. The car stock runs a 14.5 in the quarter. Gas mileage is below average tho... As far as the apex seals go did he let the car warm up first? Edit...

    upstate ny build 08-09

ah. Yeah I hear ya. Figured ya did that seeing how ya do own a stang. Sure you've been there once before with a pan gasket on it! If ya used rtv on both sides you should be good a little longer then just cork alone. So far it looks good. Hope it turns out well for ya!

    upstate ny build 08-09

Since you didn't acknowledge us about your oil pan gasket choice I'm assuming you stuck with the cork pan gasket?

    upstate ny build 08-09

Not bad my friend. Like stated above. Toyota uses FIPG black rtv. Reseal the pan with that and ya should be set! Might want to look into some other gauges as well!
