It's some sythetic I know for sure. Drained my buddies R154 came out with the same color fluid. Whatever it was the damn thing shifted like a dream.
EDIT: It is infact redline. I knew it was redline but it's been so long since we last did it...
O yea for sure! Always used Napa Gold samething as wix but I get those for free as well. Ran nothing but the two combined in my tundra and changed the oil @ 4k always.
Tell ya what tho those motors in those trucks if taken care of properly will last forever. Alot of guys on Tundrasolutions...
Jdub any useful info on valvoline full syn that claims to protect better than mobil 1? reason I ask is because I usually get free synthetic oil changes at work.. Thanks
I would imagine you need a RHD steering rack because the steering linkage would be on the other side of the vehicle would it not?
edit: why not send it to Big A @ driftmotion and see if he could rebuild it for ya?
I would have to agree with Randy! I have a PT67 on my 7M and I've very eager to boost the SOB!
But if that valve works the way it's suppose to I was go with a 72 with an .81 hotside if at all possible.
no because the T4 housing appears to use a Vband in the picture unless they have made a T4 footprint housing with the ct rear exhaust flanging.
But yes you can swap out the CT housing for the T4 housing which is good stuff so when you're ready you already got 80% of what ya need!
would ya be able to swap out the hot side housing on the Boss to a T4 foot print if ya wanted more power out of it in the future? Of course that gets rid of the internal wg....
