Hi Tuner.87, My USDM Supra is using an '88 A/T JDM 7MGTE ECU, and the 7M isn't using the HAC sensor. The plug is just zip tied out of the way of the JDM ECU. I haven't driven the Supra high enough in elevation to need it. The highest elevation the 7M has seen was below 1700 feet, w/o issues...

If it's original paint, I'd expect it to show wear. My Supra too has original paint and I say it's in 20/20 condition... Looks good at 20miles/hr or twenty feet away. Where did you get the the work done on the Coast? Van

Or, after you blast the rust off, get it ceramic coated inside and out, so the heat stays inside the manifold, spools up the turbine nicely, and can be chrome look or like mine, flat black. Flat black is good to 1400 degrees. Van
