I have been through this hell. I ended up using a combination of a torch, cutoff wheels, and a sawzall to get them out. I reused both my lower arms, but pressed in new bushings.
That was not fun.
Bleh, maybe not... The seller just PM'd me and said that someone else supposedly sent him a money order last week, but it didn't get there yet. :(
I guess my quest is still ongoing...
LOL, yeah. I'm bringing it to the shop my buddy works at after it closes today. My friend has some work to do on his Jeep, so I'm going to put my car on the lift and sort this all out.
On a side note, my ZKW/FX35 retrofit should be under way relatively soon. I just picked up a set of ZKW's...
I can't see the pic while at work. (blocked. :() When I'm assembling the hose end to the hose, I use the vice insert, and twist the hose into the end, rather than try to twist the end onto the hose.
Or am I reading you wrong?
I am certainly not an alarm expert, but it sounds to me like you've got a bad ground somewhere. I think that remote start features calculate battery voltage before they crank over the starter. If your alarm unit is picking up less battery power, it'll likely crank for longer to get the car to...
Don't bother. Do an Infinity FX35 bixenon retrofit. I've been with the e-codes and a PnP HID kit. They're terrible. My e-codes with good halogen bulbs and a headlight rewire put out more usable light.
FX35 bixenon FTW!
With TSX you only get single xenon, which is low beam only. ;)
Get some -AN wrenches, and the vice inserts. No more scratches! ;)
Nah, once you've got it figured out, it's pretty easy. It still sucks when you get a fray into your finger, but I had very little issues putting together my lines.
I would definitely run an in line filter to the turbo. drjonez lost his GT35r due to particles in his oil. :(
They're relatively cheap, and easy to fit. It's good insurance, either way.
1) Grab one from Marlin Crawler, then send yours in for the core charge.
2) Never worry about your transmission failing. (Well, I don't want to say never, but you'd REALLY have to abuse a MC rebuilt R154 to kill it)
