I managed to get hold of an old Japanese hks catalogue so i thought i'd post up some relevant part numbers which have been needed in the past :)
Harnesses:
TP-25 - 2JZGTE
TP-21 - 1JZGTE
TP-22 - 1JZGTE (jzx90?)
TP-14 - 7MGTE (89-92)
TP-8 - 7MGTE (86-88)
TP-3 - 5MGE...
there's a company here called Eagle that do wires for the 7m, and they're massively too long... get a set of them lol
i had them on mine at one stage but i had to loop them at the end, i ended up getting rid of them and putting stock back on hehe
well from what i've found the alloy polishing compound i bought suffers from oxidation in one night if water gets on it
and autosol doesn't seem to work either
^ noice!!
cept you picked an easy part :-p
now go do a manifold ;) hehe
here's my manifold at the mo, still need to do the final polish with the proper stuff
and is there an alternative to zoop seal? $99 is kinda out of my price range for getting out once a month and givin it a quick...
well... as i said earlier on in this thread i don't see why it wouldn't work as you can pretty much select the options, i.e. 2jz - 3.0, map or afm, group fire ignition, injectors then you can tune in
i'm not sure if it's that easy but someone like dr. j or bishop pls go buy one and see if it...
oh and by mk3 stitching i meant mk3 logo in yellow lol
i was kinda in a hurry to post coz i thought you were closing the doors on the order :)
so
87 rhd
black
yellow mk3 logo
Thanks alot :)
dropping the tank for the fuel pump is a major pita
definitely head bolt torque
put joiners halfway on the fan shroud so you don't have to remove shroud & fan in one go without destroying the radiator
fuel filter location, ideal location for safety but pita to get to
removing the front...
it's definitely a better alternative than buy new coils hehe
i was toying with the idea of putting in 1j coils but the first problem i had (was just playing around) is that the part in the 1j coil where you put the screws to bolt into the 1j bracket hits the 7m covers... what'd you do to avoid...
