Well, another exhaust hanger would need to be welded on. The pipe would need to have a grinder taken to it to get rid of the rust in the area for the weld, then have someone weld the hanger in place. It goes right before the rear subframe, to support the pipe between the axleback and the cat...

Heat transfer from the transmission and possibly a slight exhaust leak from the mid pipe between the header and cat. It wouldn't surprise me if that were the case

I think you missed part of what he said. It's not one bulb that went out. It's ALL of the brake lights, on both sides, and the 3rd brake light. Chance of all popping at once are slim
