I'll say this before others do... Get rid of the aftermarket fogs and fix the stockers. Or replace the stockers with the aftermarket ones in or behind the stock spt. Will look better :)
Other than that, welcome! Looks like a clean car with minimal rust (from the pics at least) :)
Let me know how you like that OSG clutch (grab, slip-ability, pedal feel). I'm considering their triple disc for my build that I'm doing later on but don't know of many people using OSG clutches on their R154's
Also, which MC rebuild did you get?
Hahaha one of those highly sought after items or something?
I got it for free when I paid 50 bucks for a flywheel and cluster. Got a HUGE amount of parts. I never knew what that plastic container was until this thread LOL
What's the going rate for the TTR Charcoal Cans? I tried searching SupraForums Australia, but after about 15 tries with different search terms each time, I still got nothing...
Wow seriously? The last (stock) crank damper I installed was insanely tight as well. I ended up smoothing out the inside with some 2000 grit and hitting it with some lube and it slid on. Took a little bit of force to get it on, but I got it to the point where I could thread the bolt on and used...
Fixed my headlight issue!
Now I need to figure out why my gauges aren't working. I swapped in a different (known working) ignitor, and my Tach needle dropped below zero when I tried to crank the car.
I had my ECU unplugged when I did this, I forgot to plug it back in...
Also oil pressure...
Swapped in the new (to the car) Integration Relay and my headlights work great now!
Thanks for your help JJ
Now I need to figure out why I'm still not getting readings on my gauges...
There is a HUGE weight difference. The USDM can is made of metal, the TTR can is made of plastic.
I have one sitting in my room, but one of the nipples broke off, so it's basically useless now :(
Haha I know JJ, I'm just trying to take care of all my problems at once. I'm waiting on an ignitor, so I figured I'd try to resolve my headlights issue
Jumping pins 4 and 5 do turn the lights on.
I've not started the car since the swap as I don't have spark or tach signal (but have a separate thread in the 7M-GTE Tech section for that issue)
Ahhh okay I was reading the wiring diagram wrong. So because I have power at the two pins it indicates that that part of my IR is working correctly, but I could have a fusible link or wiring issue between the battery and relay, which won't allow the higher current to flow to the bulbs. Is this...
Alright. I went on the theory of poor ground, so I found all of the grounds in the engine bay that I could and clean them, then replaced them. Still no luck.
Hell, I'd be happy with only having high beams, because then I can at least see at night... Haha...
Alright. Yes, 4 and 5 does turn on the lights. I have 12 v at 1 and 4, but at 3 I only have 9v. With my understanding (and that of my neighbor who is a master electrician) pin 3 should have 12v at it. Is this correct?
If the integration relay IS fried, what does it look like so I know which to...
