1jz needs a fan? lol i daily drove my 1jz with no fan for almost 4 months and the temps never got past 190 degrees. just thought i'd share that bit of useless info, but nice to see more WA 1jz. keep up the good work!
are you planning on going to the toyota meet coming up or any other meet?
i'm sure its your speed thingy they're talking about. if i go above 110ish mph my light well come on. i check the code and its the speed signal or something like that. i forgot, but it never effected anything.
am i reading wrong or do i see some people upgrading just the exahust cams?
would that even make sense? i would understand just the intake...but i dont understand why anyone would do one w/o the other.

man i think my sensor is off or something then...i have a megan racing gauge and on my 1j it never goes over 175degree unless i let it idle for more then 10minutes after driving a long time, while driving on freeway the temp is around 145degrees and most importantly i dont even have my e-fan...
i have no clue. the only thing i know is that i found an old 1/8th time slip and one side was 8 seconds flat the other was 9seconds but both had same trap speed, which i forgot what the speed was.

okay so i tried to research but i keep getting all sorts of answer. my first and main concern is.
1. are the drive shaft yoke different? meaning i cant take the w58 driveshaft and stick it in the r154 correct?
2. speedo cable the same?
3. i have w58 mated to 1jz, i dont need a new...

yeah i know i should get bigger injects but then i'm trying to find a different pump other then walbro (i dont want the whining noise)..so i'm sourcing out for a stock mkiv pump or i'll prob get a...
something weird is going on...i go to the dyno and i boost to 18psi fine. i have safc stock 370cc injectors 2jz map. nothing weird at all there.
after that...now when i hammer on it and i hit almost full boost the car almost pauses for a good second...like it wants me to go slower...go...
no codes and i will get the MM out tomorrow and test the resistance. i checked the connection quite a few times...and like i said...if i would unplug them...it would drastically change the engine from sluggish to more sluggish.
