I've driven the w58 tranny for many years and just starting to drive the 154 since the swap and if you pound on it, it would not shift smoothly. Yeah sounded like the SS would be the choice in terms of quality. The NM isn't bad either. I guess it all depends on what you intend to use it for and how much you are willing to pay. With my stock shifter I never miss a gear even when fast shifting prolly because my tranny is still in good...

Actually it's the sale for the v3 that got me interested. Like you said for a little bit more it sounded like you can't go wrong with the v3 as both shifters do provide what "short" throw shifting is designed for. thanks.

I like the power or street turbo as I am not looking to go beyond 450hp. This way I don't have to spend that much to keep up with the power increase. But if you have the dough go for it. 3sgte swap into my 03 corolla would be nice...:icon_bigg
