That looks to be a pretty accurate reading.
Some of the new/newer G-Tech's are actually surprisingly accurate.
Although, a few of us played around with it once time and I apparently only make 163hp. :icon_conf

That was beautiful.
:biglaugh:
Aaron - I'm glad to see another Supra owner in the area! Hope to see you in a few months. Adding you to the list now. :-)
Jason - I had a good talk with Andy, and he admitted to not having a stable staff at previous times...but he's got a crew...
Thanks for bringing that up. I forgot to mention this!
If anyone is wanting to do some tuning on the dyno...
Provided we have a tuner, they're charging $90/hour.

Good news!
I just got off the phone with Andy @ E-MOTORS.
We're 100% definately locked in for May 10 to dyno.
He's definately willing to work with us since we're not sure how many people are interested in dynoing...So, as we do every meet, I'm going to create another thread with...
BHG? ;)
Nate, may be a bit tough to do...but look at where the oil has "sprayed".
Examples...Power Steering tank - If there's oil sprayed only on the side closest to the turbo. Then you know it's something on that side of the motor.
Curious...Is your BOV spitting oil out anywhere, eh...
Admission is $15.00 to attend, IIRC.
You pay at the front gates of ORP...pull in, park, and walk around and enjoy the events.
There's always A LOT going on. It's organized, but it's set up so that you can freely roam.
Example - You get tired of watching cars Auto-X.....so walk over to...
That's still up in the air, ATM.
No worries. ;)
If you've ever been to O'Reilly before...Then you'd know that there won't be any issues.
The place is HUGE!
Last year...The turnout was AMAZING....TONS of cars that participated in the ShowNShine...and there was more space to roll around...
Thread created on SF.com. :)
Hope for an awesome turn out...
And hope everyones Supras are up and going and finished with the builds/break-in periods! :)
Unfortunately, some of us are still waiting on...."Overnight parts from Japan".
:biglaugh:

Jon...a little slow on the info? ;)
Chris already established and reserved a spot for us at the event. :-)
Last I'd heard...he reserved 50 spots.
LETS BEAT OUT THE SRT-4 CLUB!!! :nono:
I'll go off on a likely answer that a 1JZ will be fine with a 9lb or 11lb spring.
I ran the 11lb spring in the 7M, pulling 20 in/Hg at idle. It would surge a little with anything under 3psi. After that, it was the quickest release of air I've ever heard a BOV make. :)
I'll be running the...
Front Passenger blew out on me on the interstate as I was picking up some serious speed merging into traffic on the freeway.
And...it, WAS...as bad as I expected it to be.
For the most part, controlling it wasn't too bad...but a low profile tire on an 18" rim makes it REALLY tough. It...
DOH!!! :biglaugh:
That's going to throw off some of the locals when they see this other Supra.
Just to think...It may ruin your reputation. I can see it now......:icon_razz
"Dude, You know that White 800hp Supra?
Yeah, I totally smoked it at a stop light last night!!!"
:biglaugh...
Welcome!!! :)
I'm glad to see some more owners of MGSS. :biglaugh:
We did recently open up to more than just the A70 Supras so seeing Owners drag their MKII's & MKIV's to SM.com is a sign of success! :)
Very clean car, too. I'm sure you've heard that before. ;)
-Jeff
Pretty much what he just said.
Caleb, I think you can take several routes to get what you want done...But the real question you need to ask yourself is something that we can't answer for you.
Have you turned wrenches enough, have enough patience & are willing to be open and try new things...
