I am pretty knowledgeable when it comes to cars. I am doing a tt swap/rebuild on a z32 and rebuilding my 7mgte (for mechanical reference)
I have someone local buying my ct26 and they want me to install it too. I want an idea of how long it will take so I know what to charge... also are there...
Haha... ok, and if it's not in good condition I have a rebuilt ct 26. I also have a 57 trim but thats for me! I'll let you know, just hopefully the motor is good!
My friend had a pace setter on his N/A... It was a really clean sound, and not too loud but still loud enough! IMO I wouldn't go too loud as your an N/A and it's kinda ricey to have a really loud exhaust on a non-turbo.
Ya I'm fine on speed bumps but if I'm on the freeway and theres changes in the pavement my car will bounce and scrape really bad... but I forgot to mention that my shocks are pretty worn out :/
Boosting 15 psi on a rebuilt motor with a CT-26 57 trim with a bad tune, stock injectors, stock AFM and as you can guess I ran lean and fried two pistons. I was gonna rebuild until I found out that prev owner had the head surfaced to the max (20 thousandths) and didn't get it smooth enough for a...
If your car is low like mine you will want something thick as you tend to scrape A LOT!!! that being said I'm sure it will be fine but I would be more worried about the muffler... I bet they sound like crap, probably really raspy and not clean. My HKS HI Power sounds great!
Well 15 thousandths wouldn't cause your car to not start if that is all that has been removed... My head had 20 thou. taken off when I bought it (i didn't know at the time) with a stock hg and it started like a brand new car. Did you check all of the basics first? Battery, spark, cps, etc!!!
IMHO burgundy interior was the worst thing to happen to the mk3's! It looks old and brown like something my uncle would sport (he's 60)
The covers don't look good but they look better than stock IMO.
Ok when you say poor compression does that mean in all cylinders or in 6 and 3 only... If it's only 6 and 3 if they go back close to spec when you put oil then you have bad rings or they may have not seated properly due to not being broken in! And I believe that after a rebuild yo have to...
Pressure test the radiator cap or just buy a new one and return it if the cap isn't the problem! Having a faulty radiator cap can cause the fluid to boil. For every lb. of pressure in the system it raises the boiling point of the coolant by 3* i believe! So if you have no pressure then of course...
