Can I pick a new one? Your Supra in a snowy area.

I replaced every part of the fuel system but the distributor, and hot starts were still murder. It really wasn't a great car, and I've moved on...to MB 560SEC, also with Bosch mech injection. -_- Luckily it seems like this version is much better, and also uses Lambda feedback.

My Supra just started doing this...it did it intermittently a few times, now it's just about every time. I remember my Porsche 924 would behave exactly the same way due to vapor lock (infamously leaky Bosch mechanical injection system).

At 21psi or so, most leaks become very evident lol.

Try replacing the thermostat and get back to us...

Sounds like your fan clutch could be bad...when the gauge reads hot, and you rev the engine is the fan very loud? It should be. To test it, the engine has to be HOT, not cold like someone else said...turn off the engine while it is hot and try to spin the fan by hand. If it turn more than...

2008 I think has been the worst year of my life thus far. I'm definitely not going to get into why... I think 2006 was the most amazing year ever for me. Nothing to complain about, and I don't really know if it could have been any better.

Wow, this makes me really sad to hear...I have had a Supra since I was 16, and this makes me remember all the crazy things I did in my car when I was younger and less experienced... My heart goes out to Carson and his family, really.

You probably have the same issue as the original poster... Also, pumping the pedal while cranking will not help at all.

I had the same cold start problems for a LONG time...time switch was working properly, wiring to cold start time switch and cold start Injector was fine. I pulled the CSI out and cleaned it, didn't help. Finally I replaced my CSI with a good used one, and now my car starts flawlessly when...

I spun out when I first got my turbo Supra...trying to make a left turn, gave it too much gas in 1st, the turbo spooled and I lost traction lol. I ended up facing the wrong direction in the middle of the road, luckily there was no traffic... One car that is incredibly eager to drift and spin...
