Coolant in spark plug valley :(

the large hex plug in the bottom of the spark plug valley seals the coolant passages. the only thing I can think of is that it's leaking, and those should not have been touched when the motor was rebuilt

OFFICIAL: Indianapolis Annual Supra Meet | May 20-22, 2011!

Very nice Rich. I went to insert my CPS into the head yesterday and it wouldn't go in smoothly. Tried to gently coax it in with the aid of lots of lube and the screw that holds it in place. Heard a loud "SNAP". I think I may have snapped the shaft. Now looking for a CPS in good condition. I...

    No oil pressure.

Rings may, but it would raise crankcase pressure more so than it would oil pressure. Engine wear is the primary reason for loss of oil pressure. Too much gap between the gear teeth in the oil pump. loose crank/thrust/rod bearing clearances, worn cams, etc. Also low oil level. How many miles...

Project Daily Drifter (56k... probably not)

Update! I finished up most of my oil cooler lines and am finally finishing the CPS rebuild. I just need to peen the pin that holds the gear in place. I also picked up a turbo for my future plans. It's a Holset HX40G, 8 blade compressor (minor), bearing cartridge is oil only. Anti-surge...

    Steve's mildly out-of-control build

yeahhhhhhh bout that haha. It's ~6 hours to and ~6 hours from. Gas is expensive and my daily gets shit for gas mileage hahaha. Once the Supra is up and running, though, I will get better gas mileage. Imagine that. Boost is better on gas xD

    Steve's mildly out-of-control build

Good point My car is factory non-ABS. I need the rear kit or else the brake balance will be drastically different and also quite dangerous. The front brakes will overpower the rears and the tail can kick out. I've had that happen on the street when I first bought my car in 08. The rear...
